We are an independent scaffolding contractor based in Tidmarsh, just outside Reading. From a single house re-roof to multi-storey commercial developments, every project gets the same approach: a proper survey, a scaffold designed for the job, and a crew that turns up when they said they would.

Our yard is in Tidmarsh, between Reading and Pangbourne, which puts most of Berkshire and the Thames Valley within a short drive for surveys, deliveries and inspections. We travel further for commercial contracts too, from Oxford and High Wycombe to Basingstoke, Southampton and West London. Ask a questionHow quickly can you erect scaffolding?
Once we have surveyed the site and agreed a quote, we schedule the erection around your programme. Short-notice jobs are often possible, so tell us your start date when you enquire and we will be honest about what we can do. For emergencies, call us 24/7 on 0800 2086 905 or 07831 197615.
Do I need a licence for scaffolding on a pavement or road?
Yes. Scaffolding on the public highway needs a licence from the local council, such as Reading Borough Council or Slough Borough Council. We will tell you at the survey stage whether your project needs one and what it involves.
Is your scaffolding inspected during the hire?
Yes. Scaffolds must be inspected by a competent person before first use, after any alteration or bad weather, and at least every seven days. We carry out periodic safety checks and tag each scaffold so your site records stay complete.
Are you insured and accredited?
We are fully insured, with cover up to £10 million, and work to TG20:21 guidance. Our scaffolders are CISRS qualified and the company holds CHAS, Constructionline Gold, SSIP and CITB accreditations, so we can supply the documents your principal contractor or insurer asks for.
Which areas do you cover?
We are based in Tidmarsh, just outside Reading, and work throughout Berkshire and the Thames Valley, including Maidenhead, Slough, Wokingham, Bracknell, Newbury, Windsor and Ascot. We also take on commercial projects further afield, from Oxford to West London.

We will call or email to confirm the details, then arrange a free site survey where one is needed. You receive a clear written quotation with the scaffold design, hire period and any licence requirements set out, and we only start once you are happy.
