Scaffolders for Gloucester
Scaffolding for larger commercial projects in Gloucester, from refurbishment and new builds to historic buildings around the docks.
Our services
For projects in Gloucester we can provide every service we offer, from heritage and refurbishment scaffolding to new-build scaffolds, temporary roofs and inspections.
Offices, retail, schools and multi-storey sites.
Tidy, respectful scaffolding for homeowners and trades.
Heavy-duty access for factories, warehouses and plant.
Designed structures for tall, awkward or sensitive sites.
The paperwork and protection that keep sites compliant.
Larger projects
Gloucester is a long way from our yard in Berkshire, so the work we take on in the city is usually larger commercial contracts, planned well in advance. The journey itself is simple: west along the M4, then north through Swindon and Cirencester on the A419 and the A417.
The city has a great deal of historic fabric. The cathedral and the old streets meeting at the Cross sit alongside the Victorian warehouses of Gloucester Docks, many now converted into flats, offices and shops, with newer developments going up around them. Our own heritage work includes repointing a church tower in Newbury and refurbishment access for an Oxford college.
Heritage scaffolding for old and listed buildings.
Access for converted warehouses and larger blocks.
Along the M4, then the A419 and the A417.
Contracts planned around your programme.

Ask a questionFor the right project, yes. Gloucester is a long way from our yard, so we take on larger commercial contracts there, booked well in advance. Send us the details and we will tell you honestly whether it suits us.
Gloucestershire County Council, as the highway authority, licenses scaffolds on the city’s pavements and roads. We will confirm at the survey whether your site needs a licence.
Yes. Before any fixings go into a listed building, check with Gloucester City Council’s planning team, and we can share our proposed tie positions with them first. Our heritage projects include a Newbury church tower and an Oxford college.
Scaffold designs and TG20:21 compliance sheets, risk assessments and method statements, plus our insurance and accreditation documents: CHAS, Constructionline Gold, SSIP and CITB, with CISRS-qualified scaffolders on site.
As soon as your programme is taking shape. The earlier we know your dates, the easier it is to plan a contract this far from our yard.
