Thatcham scaffolders
Thatcham is one of the closest towns to our yard in Tidmarsh, a short run west along the A4 through Theale and Woolhampton, in the same West Berkshire district. Surveys, deliveries, inspections and adaptations are straightforward to arrange, whether the job is in the town centre, on the estates around it or out in Cold Ash, Bucklebury or Midgham.
Thatcham has grown a great deal over the last few decades, and much of its housing is modern, with new neighbourhoods still being built on the edge of town. We scaffold family homes for roofs, chimneys, extensions and loft conversions, provide new-build scaffolding for housebuilders, and give access for commercial and industrial units, such as those at Colthrop.

Ask a questionVery close. Our yard is in Tidmarsh, also in West Berkshire, a short run east of Thatcham along the A4. That makes surveys, deliveries, inspections and any changes to the scaffold easy to arrange.
Only if the scaffold goes on the pavement or road, in which case West Berkshire Council issues the licence. A scaffold kept entirely within your own property, such as on a driveway or in a garden, does not need a highway licence. We will tell you at the survey.
Yes. For loft conversions and extensions we put up a scaffold that adapts as the build progresses, from the first lifts for the walls to the roof and dormers. If the roof is coming off, we can add a temporary roof to keep the house dry.
Yes. We provide new-build scaffolding for housebuilders and main contractors, raised as each plot goes up, and our clients include Lang Homes, Redrow Homes and Berkeley Homes. Send us the site layout and programme and we will price each phase.
Yes, along with the rest of the villages around Thatcham, including Upper Bucklebury, Midgham and Woolhampton. Village jobs often have narrow lanes or tight access, so we check how the delivery will reach the site when we survey.
