Scaffolding for home builds
A scaffold that changes with your build
A loft conversion or extension changes shape as it goes. The roof is opened up, walls rise, dormers go in and the roofline is finished off, and the scaffold has to keep up with each stage. We plan the scaffold around your builder’s programme and adapt it as the work moves on. Where the roof has to be opened, a temporary roof over the scaffold keeps the rest of the house dry, as on the roof extension we scaffolded in High Wycombe.
Adapted as you build
Lifts added and platforms moved as each stage of the build is reached.
Keeps the house dry
A temporary roof protects your home while the roof is opened up.
Works with your builder
Scheduled around your builder’s programme and start dates.
Tidy and respectful
Neat, secure scaffolding around a home that is still lived in.

How it works
From survey to strike
One team looks after your scaffold from the first site visit to the day it comes down.
Survey
We visit the site, measure up and check access, ground conditions and whether a highway licence is needed.
Design & paperwork
The scaffold is specified to TG20:21, or designed bespoke where the structure needs it, with method statements and risk assessments issued before work starts.
Written quote
You receive a clear quotation setting out the scaffold, the hire period and the programme.
Erect & hand over
Our CISRS-qualified team erects the scaffold, then inspects and tags it before anyone uses it.
Inspect & adapt
Inspections continue through the hire, and we adapt the scaffold as the work moves on.
Strike & clear
When the job is done, we dismantle the scaffold and clear the site on the agreed date.

FAQs
Loft conversion & extension scaffolding questions
Straight answers to the things people ask before booking scaffolding. Anything else, just call 0800 2086 905 or 07831 197615.
Ask a questionWhen should the scaffold go up for a loft conversion?
Usually just before your builder starts work on the roof. Tell us their start date and we will schedule the scaffold around it.
Will my house get wet when the roof is opened?
A temporary roof over the scaffold keeps the weather out while the roof is open. We can advise at the survey whether your conversion needs one.
Can the scaffold change as the build progresses?
Yes. We add lifts and move platforms as your build reaches each stage. Give us notice before a change is needed and we will fit it around your builder’s programme.
Will the scaffold need to go on my neighbour’s land?
Sometimes, particularly on terraced and semi-detached homes, the scaffold has to stand on or overhang a neighbour’s land. We will tell you at the survey if that applies, so you can speak to your neighbour before work starts.
Do I book the scaffold, or does my builder?
Either. We are happy to work with you directly or with your builder, and will agree the programme with whoever is running the job.
