Hammersmith scaffolders
Hammersmith packs a lot into a small area: office blocks and hotels around the Broadway, shops along King Street, mansion blocks and flats, streets of Victorian terraces around Brook Green and Ravenscourt Park, and period houses on the riverside. Most sites here sit close to pavements, roads and neighbours, so scaffolds need careful planning.
For offices and flats, we put up full-height, netted scaffolds for windows, cladding and refurbishment; for homes, we scaffold loft conversions, re-roofs, chimneys and redecoration. Hammersmith is a straight run from our yard along the M4 and the A4, and our London projects include scaffolds across several blocks of flats in Kings Cross, netted throughout, with the entrances kept clear.

Ask a questionYes. Hammersmith is a straight run from our yard along the M4 and the A4, and we take on commercial and domestic work across the area, from the Broadway to Brook Green and the riverside.
On most streets, the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. On red routes, such as the A4 Great West Road and Talgarth Road, it is Transport for London. We will tell you at the survey which applies to your site.
Yes. On an estate in Kings Cross we scaffolded several blocks of flats to their full height for new windows, netted throughout, with lattice beams keeping the entrances clear so residents could still come and go.
Yes. On a terrace the scaffold usually goes on the rear, and on the front if the work needs it, kept tight to the house and adapted as the loft goes up, with a temporary roof if the roof is opened. If it has to stand on the pavement, it will need a licence, and we will check this at the survey.
Yes. Scaffolds can be alarmed, as ours was on a town-centre office block in Maidenhead, so they cannot be used to reach the building when nobody is on site. It is worth considering on busy streets and for homes where the scaffold reaches upstairs windows.
